Common faults and solutions of
plastic shredders

Plastic shredders generally use motors to directly connect to the shredding device. This connection method is simple and easy to maintain. However, if the two are not well connected during the assembly process, the overall vibration of the crusher will be caused.
1) The rotor of the motor and the rotor of the grinder are not concentric. The position of the motor can be moved left or right, or pads can be added under the feet of the motor to adjust the concentricity of the two rotors.
2) The rotors of the plastic shredder are not concentric. The reason is that the two supporting surfaces of the palm rotor shaft are not in the same plane. The bottom surface of the supporting bearing seat can be padded with copper, or an adjustable wedge iron can be added to the bottom of the bearing to ensure that the two shaft heads are concentric.
3) Part of the crushing chamber vibrates greatly. The reason is that the coupling between the coupling and the rotor is not concentric or the quality of the flat hammers inside the rotor is uneven.
4) The original balance is destroyed. After the motor is repaired, a dynamic balance test must be done to ensure the overall balance of the horse.
5) The anchor bolts of the plastic crusher system are loose or the foundation is not firm. During installation or maintenance, the anchor bolts should be evenly tightened. A shock-absorbing device should be installed between the foundation and the crusher to reduce vibration.
2. The bearing is overheated
Bearings are an important part of the plastic crusher, and their performance directly affects the normal operation and production efficiency of the equipment. During the operation of the equipment, the user should pay special attention to the heating of the bearing and the noise of the bearing part, and the abnormality should be dealt with as soon as possible.
1) The height of the two bearing seats is uneven, or the motor rotor and the pulverizer rotor are not concentric, the bearing will be impacted by the extra load, which will cause the bearing to overheat. In this case, stop the machine immediately to eliminate the fault to avoid early damage to the bearing.
2) Too much, too little or aging lubricating oil in the bearing is also the main cause of overheating and damage to the bearing. Therefore, the lubricating oil should be filled on time and quantitatively according to the requirements of the user manual. Generally, the lubrication occupies 70%-80 of the bearing space. %, if too much or too little is not conducive to bearing lubrication and heat transfer. The bearing extends its service life.
3) The fit between the bearing cap and the shaft is too tight, and the fit between the bearing and the shaft is too tight or too loose, which will cause the bearing to overheat. Once this kind of problem occurs, friction noise and obvious oscillation will be emitted during the operation of the equipment.
